Oh, hi! I am your new neighbor in Virginia

Oh, hi! I am your new neighbor in Virginia – well for some of you a very far distant neighbor. I recently moved with my family -  husband, two adorable kids (3.5 & 1), and three dogs, from the Caribbean! To be honest, I am a bit nervous for this new adventure and living (and driving) in snow for the first time. I am sure you are wondering, why would I move from the Caribbean to Virginia.. Let’s have coffee some time and I’ll tell you all about it! But long story short… family! Well, and I am also really excited to experience seasons, especially fall, exploring the great outdoors of Virginia (looking for hiking partners), mountains, wineries and really getting to know the heart and soul of Virginia. As I turn the page and open up this new chapter of my life, toting along a cute (& very opinionated) three year old, squishy one year old and the ultimate outdoorsman of a husband, I decided to lean into my passion of exploring, photography, writing, interior design, homesteading (sort of) and  real estate. And that brings me here to this little corner of the internet birthing Virginia Home & Lifestyle. 

Join me here as I explore all the wonders of Virginia from weekend getaways to unique Airbnbs (this is a hint to my husband what I want to do for my birthday .. wink wink) to wine tasting rooms to my very own living room and farm out in Orange, Virginia.
