A love Letter to Virginia

In honor of Valentines day, here is a little love letter to the beautiful Virginia!

Dear Virginia,

This is new love as we really just met and are just getting to know each other. You have graced me with a mild winter and a few days of flurries - which were magical BTW!

I have fallen in love with your sunsets and crisp air…. how the birds sing and how the untouched hills roll on forever. I have fallen in love with the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains that look like someone has painted them against the sky.

Your quaint towns with quintessential coffee shops and historic buildings has captured my heart, along with the people who greet me along the way.

I love sitting with you, in all your natural glory, sipping on a Virginia grown glass of wine … oh all the wine…. from a deep, bold Cab to a crisp prosecco paired with a backdrop of endless hills and groves of grape vines.

Oh and let’s not forget Fall…. The brilliant colors of bright orange, deep red and vibrant yellow .. The crisp air while sitting around a fire under a canopy of stars… This is where I fell head over heals for you.
